I got COVID for Valentine's Day - well, we both did. Our boardgames group got wiped out. I'm still feeling like death warmed up, hoping my brain stops frying soon. Moira is a good nurse, even if she prescribes cuddles and irrationality 😍 hopefully will resume less mind-melted posts soon 🤘🏼

I've been slowly thrifting books over the past few months--I love e-readers for what they are, but tangible books in the hand feel and read differently for me. I lost a lot of mine after moving to the US. This arrived today from LA and I'm looking forward to some tub time later

awwwww I just love all the cats. Musette was a TINY torty, so unique (she had pink & black beans with some speckles) and her coat changed from gray to brown each season. Absolute little lion and was the queen. I got her and her 'brother' [david] Buoy from my vet 3yrs after they were abandoned there😞

(David) Buoy was 28lbs at the time we adopted him. He had a blue and a green eye, and sadly passed away from liver cancer in 2022. Buoy (large white cat) being accosted by a baby Moira (small black cat). They were BFFs and it was love at first sight when she met him as a kitten. Both laying on hardwood floor while she's aggressively bathing his ears.

Everyone loves cat updates 🐈

Scout & Moira have been doing really well since losing Musette. Scout has become the biggest pest towards Moira too. She doesn't care about power struggles (or even how to be a cat), so Moira might have ascended the Alpha Throne, but gets knocked over and sat on a LOT 😂

the past few weeks have been an accelerated decline for her dementia and she's been struggling to fight off a cold on top of it all. I know some ppl here enjoy cat updates, I wish this one was happier to report 💔

I'm a huge Bowie slut as well, and think The Big Come Down is probably the best love letter of influence musically. Watching YT vids of NIN+DB live always gives me chills. I know I say I'm old AF, but that's a show I wish I was OLDER for.
