So this is my life now.
Hazel, a dilute calico lying between my legs. I'm wearing grey Mandalorian pants with black mythosaur symbols all over them. My left leg is straight and my right is bent. Hazel is nestled between them and on her back with her head resting on my straightened leg. Her eyes are closed and you can't hear it but she is purring loudly because she loves her belly rubs. And reader, it is soft like a chinchilla!

All the trees along the building are turning bright yellow and orange except the one by our house. It's old and grumpy, and gives a big harumph before shaking like a dog and dropping them all overnight.
The view out of my bedroom windows onto my patio. There is a line of yellow and orange trees and one solid green grumpy tree.

This is from about 2007 or 2008 ish. I was working on pictures for a website I was part of. This was about the era when I met my husband, if anyone knows that actual story. So I guess IYKYK? 😘

Happy 2nd birthday to Rory and Hazelnut! 🥳🎉

The best and strangest cats we have ever had. It has been such a joy to watch them grow.

(Shhh don't tell them. Cake and presents later!)
Rory and Hazelnut (Hazel) are hugging each other while they sleep. This is the only time I have ever seen this. They are siblings, not best friends. Rory is a tuxedo cat and Hazel is a dilute calico. Rory and Hazel both have shoved themselves in the seat basket of my pink walker. Hazel, sitting with both paws together and looking at the camera with a bright curious look. Her nose has a white stripe but is mostly grey and she has a pink spot that make it look like her nose is pierced. She is a dilute calico so she is a pale version of a calico. Rory, is laying in the bathroom sink. He is looking back at the camera with a sly look on his face. He is so happy in the sink! He has one paw by the cold water knob as if he is asking me to turn it on. I probably did. He loves sink water to drink and also to play in.

Omg omg omg I saw my orthotist today and he gave me Billy shoes, for free! He had extras and they were my size. They ZIP so I just put my AFO in and zip them right up! Eeeek! 🥰🥰
My two feet. My left foot is tilted to show the solid black Converse type shoe, but on the right side, the shoe is unzipped. It's a flap that opens to make it easier to put my AFO in. The AFO is a boot type thing that is held on with velcro. It has a toe insert because I have none.

I got boxes, and made a sign letting ppl know what was happening with SNAP, I gave them the web address and phone number to Roadrunner Food Bank, and I said the box was for donations. Anyone could donate or take.

A curved shoe horn made from a railroad spike. It has a good grip on it and the middle is twisted. It is curved so one could get some space between an AFO and a shoe.

A quick pass of Dermacol covered my tattoo nicely. No prep, no powder, just a quick application.

If you have tattoos that are questionable, while you wait for a tattoo artist to cover it this is a great option IMO.

House humans on Saturday: Oh what a cute toy! It sticks on the door and the babies can play with it!

Kittens on Monday:
My hand holding a blue mouse on a wire spring that WAS attached to the door. The bell is hanging out of the butt of the mouse and Rory can be seen photo bombing and trying to take it out of my hand. It is falling apart and on it's way to the cat toy graveyard, otherwise known as the trash can.
