I guess this is supposed to help with RAM efficiency or something, but why not just load all assets that are guaranteed (or at least have a very high probability) to show up right away??

every time an asset needs to be loaded in, I can TELL, because there's microstutters happening - it doesn't happen all the time, but when it DOES happen, it's pretty annoying, since it takes me out of the game
