my single biggest gripe with academia and the tests they give boils down to when they ask for something like "give me this coefficient" but what they really mean is "give me the formula for the coefficient in this scenario" as if they aren't 2 entirely different fucking answers.

Being a clearly autistic kid I had like comfort albums of music I'd use to drown out the world, and I'd just listen to them on repeat. Which has an added benefit of specific albums triggering memories of a specific time. Unfortunately sometimes I forget why I stopped listening to an album.
