Taco Stand on Northgate was back open tonight. As I went we watch SPD go around in circles and turns on their sirens a few times. What is this? This seems very strange if they’re doing something wrong then talk to them. This felt like intimidation

100% and if they build that one building below in the ID I think it could all blend together very well.

Alright Apartment Construction Update! This one is on 803 S WASHINGTON ST. Yesler Terrace area. Apartments are two building one 21-Story the other 23-Story 365 Units with Retail. Parking for 248. Pics taken Sep 8th 2025. Projects looking pretty far in progress getting down to the final stretch

It really is a crime next to our Water Front and major tourist area we have a Public Storage Building. It’s an eye sore and waste.
September 6, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Half the project done given they need to connect the two buildings. They also broke up the road leading to Red Robin. If the project wasn’t starting for awhile I don’t know why they would do that now when they left it alone will a week ago. But idk again you may be right.

Even more. It just keeps going. First picture shows congestion. You will have to take my word for it but none of these cars stopped to drop someone off or for a vender it was to drive through.
September 2, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Two more cars for example. Don’t look like vender cars to me
September 2, 2025 at 12:32 AM
Further proof a Taxi and Motorcycle coming on through. Not dangerous at all.
September 2, 2025 at 12:26 AM
If anyone wants further proof. These 3 cars came down the Hill around 5 they aren’t venders. They picked nothing up. As I sit here typing this 4 more cars have gone by. So where is this no car experiment happening?

By this point in the day 3Pm-4 the Red marked entrances should be blocked. Blue mark at the far end I could see an argument for maybe keeping it open but I’d still say it causes further traffic for walkers crossing from the park to the market or vis versa. None of them have been.

Our 2nd is a bit confusing so if anyone’s got info chime in. This one is on 2301 7TH AVE it’s much further in construction. I think there is suppose to be another building going with it? The other lot is currently empty for now. But so far half of the combo is done? Will be 30-Story 622 Units
August 30, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Alright we have two building Construction updates for everyone today. Both in Seattle SLU area both right next to each other. The first is in pretty early stages of construction on 2405 7TH AVE
44-Story, 442 Units, Parking 260, Don’t quote me but I think construction started maybe 3 months ago.

Here the first to pictures are better sides of the station end the 2nd is the best. The 3rd picture is the other side which only started in June-July so not much is done this is as close as I could get to it for now.
August 23, 2025 at 7:47 PM
Other side of the station about a week later

Progress so far on the Shoreline 148th non motor Pedestrian Bridge. This bridge will be connected to the South Shoreline Station in a semi similar way the Northgate Bridge is. For more about the project link below. Looks like completion is on track for 2026

The beginnings of it.
August 21, 2025 at 3:18 AM
If anyone wants to see the Status of the Pinehurst Link Light Rail station as of Aug 9th here are some pictures I just took.

Okay folks. So we have been talking about putting Speed bumps on Lake W Blvd S. Just to make clear I aggressively support this. But these things? (Sorry it’s dark) Don’t work great and need to be higher or far more effective. These in the picture are in 5th Ave NE.
July 24, 2025 at 11:51 PM
I finally arrived in South Park today.
July 21, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Most have been next to the Target or between it and the QFC for now. Even at this new development though at the back end of the Mall I can still hear the freeway a bit. But it’s also next to 5th Ave NE
July 19, 2025 at 7:49 PM
For now in Northgate largely because of the Mall most new developments have been a decent enough distance from the freeway the noise isn’t to notable but. This new affordable one set to be finished in the Fall is right in front of mine and next to the station and you hear the freeway well.
July 19, 2025 at 7:44 PM
The segment mentioned. I will be going out to get food later tonight. So I’ll swing by here again and see how much different night is. It’s a bit more calm than most Saturdays though. But I think this speaks to how much noise Freeways make. Even less cars doesn’t make a massive difference
July 19, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Closer to the bridge level
July 19, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Okay so it’s a bit Apples to orange’s different time of day and Friday vs Saturday. And Technically it’s closed from 45th in U District to the International District. So I’m guessing lots are going around that segment then getting back on the freeway at 45th or by the ID
