Yes, I wrote a book. Yes, it's a whodunnit murder mystery. Yes, it was professionally developmental and copy edited. Yes, it's self published. No, I didn't use AI when writing it. No, it doesn't have any spicy scenes. No, I don't care if you pirate it. No, I didn't write it for the money.
I'm 30 years old and today is my first day of school (again). I forgot how stressful it is while working full time and feel like I've signed away all my free time for the next two years at least.

I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but I do like making large prints of photos I've taken, framing them, and hanging them up in my home.

When I arrived home from work today, there were at least twenty monarch butterflies in my wildflower bed. I've never seen so many butterflies together outside of an official conservatory. #monarch #butterfly

So with it looking like US Tiktok users are going to be forced into a new version with an algorithm controlled by business associates of this government, I ask what's the alternative app we're all moving to? (Not YouTube shorts).

Probably not as reliable an anecdotal "metric" as the "strip club index" but if my job was any indication of the US economy, we'd be very concerned. New projects & orders are way down across the board this year for the variety of industries we manufacture products for & I've never seen it this slow.

If Democrats won't act like an opposition party, we will.

Regarding the cloture vote, I'm not convinced it's only those 10 democrats that are the problem. I believe it's much deeper and a number of those no votes are part of the controlled opposition too, but voted no for optics. Only a vote of no confidence in Schumer's leadership will change my mind.

My friend Marc shared this 2025 bingo idea with me. You write down 24 tasks to meet (birthday is free space) in 2025 of a combo of things you've never done or want to improve, from easy to impossible. Funny that excel is my first space because I made this bingo card randomizer in excel.

#GoodreadsYearInBooks Good year of reading. Started the year by reading classics which transitioned into philosophical fiction and texts and then ended the year reading a combination of nonfiction history and crime and some fiction for upcoming movies I want to watch. #books #booksky

One of my hobbies is cooking. I like to discover different foods and recipes from around the world. Does anyone have any hidden gem dishes or recipes from their region or culture they would like to share?
