this is so true it hurts. i used to blitz through game jams while writing new songs weekly and training parkour and translating webnovels, all with a full-time job. my soul was on fire and it was impossible to contain. now i struggle to keep even one thing alive. when did i decide everything is hard

three months ago i asked myself what the best way to handle wall detection for my parkour game and decided that what i really needed was to go completely off the rails and implement a novel-ish surface remeshing algorithm to compile arbitrary shapes into edge groups instead of, you know, line traces

here is CLEAR, my (rather rushed) entry into the #fallingblockjam. it's a 4-in-a-row matching game, with a twist: in order for a piece to clear, you must first smash it open by hard dropping onto it
this has received basically no QA or balance testing so, uh, good luck!

i decided to try this raid tier in party finder because i was so fucking tired of static drama and it was the worst decision i have ever made playing final fantasy xiv. so much time wasted for so little reward. i am never going to do this again.
