Hoy es el día del Pueblo Romaní. Nuestra historia y diversidad conjunta no se cuenta ni se entiende sin la de este pueblo tan rico. Hoy, más que nunca, recordamos la universalidad de los #derechoshumanos #stand4humanrights

Let us be problem solvers, rather than problem observers.

16 million people in Syria need our help right now.

The cost of hesitation will be far greater than the risk of decisive action. We must act with ambition.

This is not a drill. Many will die because of aid cuts.

The pace and the scale of the funding cuts are a seismic shock to the humanitarian sector. But we will not retreat from our mission.

Grateful for opportunity to brief UN press corps.

We've allocated over €76 million in humanitarian aid for Bangladesh, Myanmar and the Rohingya refugee crisis.

The funding will help provide food, shelter, essential services, access to clean water and disaster preparedness.

We remain committed to helping those in need.

We must say NO to female genital mutilation (FGM).

Let @unfpa.bsky.social (the @un.org sexual and reproductive health agency) explain the role we all have to play to #EndFGM and ensure girls grow up free from this harmful practice

Over 200 million women, including at least 600,000 in Europe, underwent female genital mutilation.

On International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM, let’s be clear: FGM must be universally condemned and eradicated.

Together with countries around the globe, we can make it happen ↓

Hello! Fresh start here :)

Did you know that @unfpa.bsky.social works on achieving the "three zeros" by 2030? That means we concentrate our efforts in achieving zero unmet need for contraception, zero preventable maternal deaths and zero gender-based violence and harmful practices around the world
