I am very pale and very soft.
My go to is the Tillamook Extra Sharp Vintage White. It’s about $10 at Costco for the brick. It’s good enough for my Canadian in-laws demand we bring back 5-6 blocks every year when we visit.

Took the mtb out on a night ride after work and I’ll admit that the sunset of democracy is at least pretty.

Plenty of folks saying that gravel bikes are turning into old school mountain bikes. I say, what’s wrong with that?

Parents, be on the lookout this Halloween. Criminals are stealing mechanics’ 10mm sockets and hiding them in kids candy.

“Most of all he was my best friend and he’s gone too soon.”

Thanks to Sturgill Simpson for having a song about all our best dogs.

RIP Magnus.

3/4 of a tank of fuel in the FJ, rear locker used twice, and a full tank of gas through the chainsaw and a new “gravel” route is scouted and ready to go.

There were about a half dozen garbage bags and their contents spread all over the freeway on Sunday. Thought I made it through like I was Cole Trickle and didn’t hit anything. Guess I was wrong. This bad boy was buried all the way in the tire. #itsonlyflatonthebottom

Not gonna lie. Part of the reason I was considering selling my FJ Cruiser (I’m not. I’m keeping it) was to get an 80series cruiser because I love the slider rear windows and the tailgate in the back instead of the big wagon door of the FJC.

Edmonton, you were great. I’m glad you weren’t -30 this year, but some snow would have been nice. Your topography did make me want to bring my gravel bike next time I visit in the summer.

Having one of these has changed how I ride and spend time in the woods. It’s allowed my family peace of mind when I’m out of cell range and lets me deviate from pre planned routes to do some exploring. Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas has them super cheap for Black Friday.

Trestle Loop never disappoints, even when I had to stop four times and hang out in the sun long enough for my toes to thaw. Gotta remember to pack my winter shoes next time.

Forgot about this site for a little while. Guess I need to spend some more time over here. I’ll start with a picture, cause pictures are good. Inadvertent matching of bike and foliage.
