Favourite article for #AberPGCTHE. In my seminar, they read Chew's article in advance. I start with quick retrieval practice of the 7 points. Then they type examples from their own experience into a shared doc and we discuss. My students are mostly new HE lecturers.

Doesn't matter that I teach AP students. Generally speaking, they don't know how to study.

Today, we're going back to the basics of flashcards. So powerful for learning when done correctly.

Don't make learning more complicated than it need be.
