There's a strange belief on the right that manufacturing jobs are the holy grail of working-class jobs. When, in reality, generations of factory workers worked hard to send kids to college so they didn't have to work on the line. They didn't want their families to work on the line forever.

It’s awful that this doesn’t come as a surprise. The SBC has shown that, as a whole, they don’t really care about the morality of those in leadership and prefer that skeletons stay in closets. Why would Mike Johnson care about whether or not Gaetz paid to have sex with a minor? Ichabod.
TAPPER: You're a man of faith. Does it matter anymore for Republicans to think of leaders as people who are moral in their personal lives? Is that still important in the GOP?
