I don’t know that there was any polling. It’s an off-year, kinda obscure race, so hard to poll or predict. I think the general consensus was that Dems would be motivated to turn out and helped by a lot of city level races on the ballot (like Atlanta mayor).

It’s a zero sum game. I don’t get how people don’t get this.

Turnout in Athens is going to be at least double what I’d usually expect for this type of election (off-year, obscure state office, nothing else on the ballot)

Chase is always one of the higher precincts but I bet that means we wind up with close to 20,000 not counting absentees.
