I feel like the walls would just know better than to collect dust. Like, maybe they try it once, just to see what it's like. Everyone else is doing it after all, why not see what the fuss is about. Then Crowley yells that exact thing in the post and they decide that one experiment is enough.

This was an experiment engraving a sketch with a laser, since I mostly use it for super crisp lines that I can’t get with hand tools. I drew this in Procreate with my favorite brush and left all my sketchy lines. I was really pleased with the outcome once I had the settings dialed in!
