Opened an old file of articles on the Constitution this afternoon and found I had saved this 2018 issue of Time magazine with one of the burning questions of 2025 on the front. It’s filed under ‘Constitution’ because this question was settled in 1868, but did we actually mean it?

And the US is deporting eight immigrants without due process to a country in conflict and deadly flooding?! Wake up, people. This can’t possibly be what you voted for … or is it?
