Unfortunately we are mirroring almost all of that on the Kansas side too. Laura Kelly has stopped what she could but we are deeply gerrymandered. Kris Kobach, our AG and a drain on the state in several positions before that is one of the nations driving anti-trans legislators.

Being trans means you can’t cover trans issues, but political reporters can sext their subjects and be named editor of another publication and have a glossy profile story written about them by a reporter who happens to be the son of famous people.

I bought that record before I had a player, funny enough. The real power (for me anyway) of the record player is the ritual of it. It's relaxing to set it up, put on music, and intend to listen to the music start to finish.
