Ten sets of tack ready to go. Dallas Police Department has a Police Athletic League (PALs) for local kids. The Mounted Patrol Unit sponsors ten kids for the fall and spring semesters each year. They learn to groom, tack, feed and of course ride their own particular horse in the barn. Tons O fun. 😀

This is the tack room at Equest in Dallas. It is a non-profit therapeutic equine facility. I volunteer there one day a week. Something quite peaceful about a morning tack room. Mostly quiet except for the muffled sound of a few horses moving around in their stalls.
