Staying warm at the Christmas Market. It’s much cooler today. It’s -9° now. W/c -18. Increasing cloudiness. High -5°. Windy W 20-40 shifting SE 20-30. A pm flurry possible then snow starts this evening. ~2cm. Temps rise o/nite to -3°. A sun/cloud mix Sunday, with falling temps.

Rain, melting snow and puddles this morning in Ottawa. It’s 8° now but temps will fall this pm reaching sub zero readings by 5pm. Wind SW 40-60. Low -8° with flurries. Partly cloudy Sat. am then clouding over with flurries by evening. High -3°. Windy with flurries Sunday & -2°.

Walking on the winter causeway across Brown’s Inlet near the Bank St. Bridge -a first for me. A mild high of 4° today with clouds giving way to some sun. Wind SE ⬆️ 15-25+. Low 3° with rain developing. Morning high Fri. 7°, then temps falling through pm. Rain changes to flurries. High Sat -5°.

Sunset today is at 4:19. It doesn’t set earlier than that. In fact, sunset tomorrow is at 4:20. By end of the month sunset is near 4:30. By March 9 sunset is after 7pm. Some snow today. ~4cm in spots. Milder. High -2°. Wind SW ⬆️ 20+. Low -16°. Much colder Sunday. Clearing & -12°.
