Flying above the Canadian Arctic..
Well it looked like it.

Spotted this snow family last night. There’s NO chance they will be melting anytime soon. 81.4cm of snow so far this month (nearly 20cm since Sunday alone), but that stormy pattern will now turn quiet for awhile. It’s -20° now. W/c -28. Intervals of ☀️ & ☁️ & -10° today. 30% chance of a flurry.

I bundled up and got outside yesterday to explore the woods. Periods of snow develop this afternoon, lasting into early Thurs. 4-8cm. It’s -12° now. High -7°. Wind S ⬆️ 20+ by pm. Temps rise overnight to -4°. Lingering flurries in spots Thurs. & -3°. MUCH colder Fri. Into wknd.

Some of you have had just about enough of all the snow recently, but I still like the photographic opportunities. Radar is showing some spotty snow showers early this morning, but otherwise mainly cloudy skies today & -5°. We can hope for some breaks of sun by pm. Repeat Monday.
