You wised up and got out of that nonsense sooner than I did. With Trump wining the primary, I recognized the Republicans as the bigger problem, but I was (and still am) pissed at the DNC over Bernie, and had plenty of criticism for the left.

Anyway, I openly criticized Trump, Bearing, Sargon of Akkad, and that pissed off a bunch of the "skeptics", so that was fun.

Ansgar might remember this, but I made a generic statement about how I'd like to eventually see a woman be president and that REALLY triggered some people. XD

BUT, I never voted for Trump, I never promoted the guy, I thought he would be a terrible president from the get-go, but was hoping I'd be wrong. I just thought the people freaking out about him were nuts.

I guess I was wrong, just not about the part I was hoping for...

I used to thoroughly enjoy trashing the "woke, SJW snowflakes" because they were being a big pain in everyone's ass, I watched a ton of "Skeptic Community TM" videos, made some of those videos myself, and used to make fun of people having meltdowns over Trump.

I 100% used to think the same thing. I used to have a lot of cringe beliefs too... In a weird way I almost kinda miss those days since we didn't have a fascist regime running the country, military in the streets, and all of that. But damn, I had some cringe beliefs, though!

Yeah... Jormungandr is a snake-skinned woman who can turn into a giant serpent, Thor bangs her. Odin has a vision of "the future" and meets Jesus in the vision and sees the rise of Christianity-- and I'm not totally sure why. They did get Sleipnir's origin right, though. Mostly, I guess. XD

I guess it's not that surprising that the tech has been around for a while.
