I haven't watched the whole interaction between Trump and Mamdani yet, but I have seen clips of it, and those clips have got me thinking "could Mamdani be the infamous Bubba?"

1) It seems to me like some Democrats/people on the left are trying to whitewash Kirk, doing a lot of mental gymnastics and using vagaries to portray him in the best light possible.

Statements from the LAPD and CHP about the ICE protests in LA right now. I'd say this is good news! I'm no legal scholar, but as far as I'm aware, they aren't supposed to assist ICE or Border Patrol. Also, ICE seems to be acting unlawfully anyway.

Here's a screencap of some Yelp reviews of a Ross store I used to work at. The reviews did not surprise me at all. For all the people leaving reviews saying they plan to call corporate, I wish I could respond to them and say "Corporate doesn't care at all, in fact, many of them are worse."

I was reading some comics tonight for a nice break from the chaos of life... I guess I chose the wrong comics to read. I miss the days when the thought of someone like Lex Luthor being president seemed outlandish and fun.
P.S. When Luthor committed crimes as president, he went to jail.
