Feels so strange to pick back up a pencil again to go back into drawling and get back into studies. I look forward to re challenging myself again in giving art another go. ✍️

I will say over this past year I have spent much time with writing. Finally surpassing a old character I created a long time ago. My goal was to make a character that felt real, someone with flaws, dreams and ambitions. I believe I have archived it with my new Character Godfrey. (More to come)

Finished up this delightful book nook build that spouse got me for Xmas. It was soothing blend of Lego building and puzzle making that I found extremely satisfying, promoting extreme focus and deep work that magically settled anxiety. Now I understand the "old people working on puzzles" stereotype.

Tis the new year! I have arrived everyone and have come on a quest for this year. Learning to draw in my own style. It's been so many years since I have actually put my pencil to the paper. Over the course of each month going to keep posting on blue sky. This is a small goal but a goal nonetheless.

Back to working again, though have to take many, many breaks and wear my wrist wraps.
