“Prayer for Saartje” 🙏🏾

Sarah Baartman (Saartje) was a #Khoekhoe woman who was enslaved and taken on tour to be exhibited as a freak show attraction around the world. I created this small #sculpture as a #meditation on #rest in her honor.
