WHEN EVIL LURKS is very well-made, disgusting, and disquieting, but (just like TERRIFIED) it simply didn't scare me in any visceral way. I was exhausted, though, so maybe I need to give it a second watch. Definitely a must-see for horror fans either way.

COBWEB was not what I expected, but still nothing you haven't seen before. Still, it's very well-executed and willing to be extremely, brutally cruel to children, so still worth a watch.

THE PASSENGER is somehow even darker than expected. It's a bit cliche at times, but the cast is so terrific that it still very much works. Kyle Gallner is incredible, as always.

THE BLACKENING had me laughing within the first minute and ended with an all-timer gag. As a slasher it's not much, but it's a terrific comedy with a drop of horror.
