Reading strangers’ opinions used to be a rare and novel idea. There was a whole “Opinions” section in newspapers so people could get a little daily taste of them while having a sensible breakfast cigarette.

The new house we’re renting came with a Ring doorbell and four installed outdoor cameras. Enough that I had to try it out.
Not only does the company do a bunch of sketchy collabs with law enforcement, but the (paid!) system is absolutely useless for anything more advanced than “camera doorbell”.

Saw a license plate frame that said “This is the way.” on the bottom and “THE MANDALORIAN” on top. It reminded me of those bad Halloween costumes from the 80s with plastic masks and the character’s logo on the chest.
