there was a different opinion that you could compress down to 0 humans -- this is possible only if humans are fungible, and his take was that we're just bootstrapping the (much more capable) machine race and we ultimately go extinct.

my stance: regardless of the number of agents anyone employs, you ultimately compress an organization down to 1 human at a minimum. at some point, i want some system to report to me dollars hitting my bank account so i can continue living. if that doesn't happen, i'll have to figure something out.

this is the way for now. advancements in ai capabilities have been tremendous, but they're not quite ready for primetime for people who don't have some degree of technical background. hot take: give it another 6mos and that could be pretty different

i've been working on a pro forma doc today and i'm looking at the effect that leveraging AI has on every aspect of what we do and how i anticipate it impacting headcount and uhh yea it's crazy?

i was talking to a fund of funds gp about his deployment strategy and even he was considering having some portion of his capital being put towards funds that have a strong explicit strategy toward creating liquidity
