Musk cannot say he is finding nonprofit grant fraud and abuse based on where and what he is looking at. He is either misunderstanding what he is looking at or is intentionally lying. If Musk/Trump wanted to find non profit grant fund fraud and abuse there is the Federal Audit Clearing house.

You can’t tell fraud or misuse of grant funds through the Treasury payment management system. I know this because I am a retired CPA. I have audited, worked with and for non profit agencies that received grant funds for the last 30 years. It’s just a payment system. Annual audits disclose abuse.

@jenpsaki.bsky.social you talked about Medicaid this morning. When you do expand the story about who it benefits it needs to be clear the it’s the communities physicians, clinics and hospitals that get the funds. If Medicaid is cutback it’s likely your rural hospital that will be affected.
