Still is, occasionally.

Positively or negatively linked?

Nothing worse than when your gizmo malfunctions intermittently.

An inch?!

Probably apocryphal, but asking the waitress for a quickie when ordering a quiche.

Of course. Trump is a Russian agent.

As an ex-goatkeeper I really miss them. Great pics.

Happy Twittermas to Elon. I hope everyone’s wishes for him come true.

Farage embodies all the reasons I am current ashamed to have to admit to being English. Of course he is racist.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? How much longer will it be? Are we there yet?

I have written and recorded 26 songs (on my YouTube channel) which were all written in my 70s. Age is immaterial.

I would love to hear him showing how one can abuse someone in a non-hurtful, non-insulting way.

Not to mention older and more coherent viewers! My point was wider though. Even on terrestrial television the tendency is to flick rapidly through clips at every opportunity and shorten scenes in programmes.
November 25, 2025 at 5:32 AM
Is it my 79 year old imagination or does all video content increasingly comprise short clips? Some trailers for programmes are composed of dozens of 2 second clips stitched together (making it impossible to decide what any of them are saying) and scenes in programmes are rarely lengthy.

Just confirms what an idle tosser he is and how little he cared.

They have been too scared to push the economic case for the benefits of immigration and the moral case for a compassionate approach to asylum and safe legal routes for those seeking it.

That was my experience too (I am, however, long retired). Nevertheless, as a teacher you can only ever do your best for and with the students in the class and inevitably that is affected by their background and previous experience.

And to think I was hopeful when Labour returned to power. In place of political philosophy, principles and vision we just have a series of knee-jerk reactions to the raving of the Faragists.

I think you meant defamation but deformation is pretty apt.

I’d support a referendum to deport Farage.

Agree. Travelling in France this year, every time we revealed we are English (mainly to excuse our limited French) we felt ashamed. Never happened before.

I think we are on the same side here.
