Was an interesting weekend to finish this book to say the least, but wanted to recommend MARTYR! to anyone who hasn’t read it. Just astoundingly beautiful prose (you can tell the author is a poet), with so much to say about the stories we tell about ourselves and others.

I don’t understand (I do but bear with me) why some white people are so offended that POC are stronger, taller, have bigger penises, etc. The people who owned slaves literally bred them to possess all of those traits. 🤦♂️
