In an effort to better understand the world around me and in the spirit of the Buddhist monks walking across the United States I have decided to do a virtual walk for peace. I started on the first of January and have began to chronicle my journey from XTO, Kharkiv to wherever my feet take me. (1/2)

I left Philly for Kyiv just two weeks ago, and although internet access and power has been dodgy I feel safer here right now. I may try to extend my stay here for a while longer, the people are amazing. Now if I could figure out how to sleep through the night and not wake up and post randomly.

So the ICE goons have now broken international law by trying to force their way into a sovereign consulate in MN. Impeach every person involved in the leadership of this organization now, defund it, and make these fascists answer for their crimes.

Day 6: We made it to the tractor plant that gave this neighborhood its name, the KhTZ plant. It produced over 3 million tractors and agricultural machines since its creation in the 1930s. it became the industrial backbone of Ukraine. It still employs close to 1k workers. #virtualwalk4peace #Ukraine

It is interesting to be reading "The Gulag Archipelago" during the events of today. I honestly do not understand how anyone could support the Trump regime as they attempt to do here what Stalin did in the Soviet Union. Horrible crimes against humanity all while lying to the american people.

Lost power over last few days the walk will resume today as long as power stays steady. The news of drone attacks on Kharkiv yesterday against more civilian targets makes me sick. This in connection with the martyr of an observer in America was almost too much to handle. Stay safe folks.

Five days of walking brings us to the Sports Palace in Kharkiv. This used to be a large multi-use arena hosted volleyball, futsal, and boxing. It was unfortunately destroyed by a missile launched from Russia in 2024. #virtualwalk4peace #Ukraine

On Day One I walked to the neighborhood of Piatykhatky in Kharkiv. This neighborhood is the site of a mass burial of soviet citizens killed by the KGB against Polish nationals. These mass murders were known as the Katyn massacres. #history #virtualwalk4peace

Out of a morbid curiosity I turned on Blaze Radio while playing a game last night just to see what they were saying. I now know that many of these people hate us for no other reason than to distract. The program I listened to was all about grace of God, and the host was talking about anti woke.

I find it very interesting how people will see what they want to see and not what is actually seen. The young man who lost his eye to DHS had his interview posted to X and the comments were absolutely disheartening. I hope that we can come together in the future and drop the division. #humanity

Who else saw our current reality when this bill was passed? I emailed the crap out of my representatives as soon as I read the provision for ICE funding. This is not something that just happened, this is a calculated plan for escalation.

The thing that worries me most about the recent video circulating of a DHS officer threatening people for filming is that he is wearing captain bars on his uniform. This guy is not a new recruit, he is a seasoned vet of this organization. His hateful views have been on the force for a long time.

My main form of employment is in content creation and I find it so difficult to try and create art right now when the world seems to be melting around me and my family. I refuse to just lament online about the issues as that is not my style.

I will say this once. Sharing ones opinion that ICE has overstepped their mission, sharing opinions that ICE is a violent paramilitary group, and sharing that ICE's mission is to terrorize the United States does not make someone a violent protestor nor a terrorist extremist. Fox News needs to stop!
