today’s progress: i have abstracted over execution models in rust so you can annotate regions of code as cpu, blocking, or async io and let the caller choose the execution scheme e.g. rayon + smol or single threaded or etc

today’s progress: cracked open my old laptop and got a git server running on my nas so i can keep getting some work done on this thing while i’m in portland. discovered moltenvk doesn’t support some extensions i was hoping to use so i’m either going to work on assets or switch away from those

so i didn’t figure out bindless rendering last night but i did write vulkan so bad that my entire computer locked up for five seconds when i launched it, freezing everything including system audio and the mouse
