It’s always so frustrating. They’re having a marathon in one of the nearby town theaters where I live and a part of me is hesitant to attend because I know there’s guaranteed to be a crowd like this present.

Unfortunately a little bit of a humiliation ritual with a crowd. I ADORE Nakano’s farewell, old Champion Festival muscles flexing to retool an old friend in the language of the era’s disaster films, masterful and haphazard all at once, but some clowns in the audience really spoiled the mood.

I think it buckles and rattles a bit for me, which is why I wanna see it again. But its power is undeniable, ESPECIALLY in Jacob Elordi as the Creature. It is fucking INSANE to me that he almost didn’t get this role; what an absolute buzzshock of a performance!
