Jeez. Wow. It’s actually getting worse.
Yet more evidence that social media companies don't give a damn about societal well-being or harms falsehoods do - they only care about keeping users engaged for profit. We should look at SM companies same way we view tobacco firms

I find the balance between the joy of seeing people interested in psychology and neuroscience, and the frustration at the people who oversimplify to sell cure-all courses and treatments, extremely overwhelming.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again (every time I get an ad for any kind of nerve stimulation device) - if someone tries to sell you a magical, easy sounding solution for all your (mental) health complaints… run, don’t walk, THE OTHER WAY.

My dislikes - overcomplicating and mystifying neuroscience. Us vs them mentality. Closed-mindedness.
