Too wet for a walk so here’s a composite video cobbled from several stills captured yesterday of an Eastern whipbird. These forest floor dwellers do present quite the challenge.

Morning Melbourne! 🌬️

A brilliant day for twitching yielded a close encounter with a Superb Lyrebird. These guys are masters of mimicry & I’ve used the captured grainy images (very low light) over a soundtrack taken previously in Gembrook Park.
