We still have Gameworks (downtown) and Family Fun Center (Tukwila) and go-karting spots in Redmond & Monroe. But I don’t want to have to go to IDAHO for the closest rollercoaster. No.

Thanks! Yeah so far the flooding is mostly 20+ miles north of Seattle and south of Seattle, but it’s pretty bad. The rivers are record-level high and predicted to get higher. A friend of mine lives on a basin next to the Snohomish River up north & got a message to evacuate 😞

I’ve always needed extra outside validation because of it, and today my therapist told me that it’s completely understandable and that I’m NOT crazy and definitely not a “bad person”. Guilt is a boomer parent specialty and that shit sticks with you for years.

For the longest time, due to past family dynamics, I’ve had bad anxiety about thoughts and feelings that pop up and had a bad habit of calling myself “crazy” or “a bad person” for even the most benign/human thought processes, thanks to my parents’ judgmental voices in the back of my head.

He DID have some routine bloodwork (senior cats, amirite) so we’re still waiting on that, but doc says heart, lungs and organs look fine so far 😇
