The interaction it's having with Megistotherium is purely speculative, as the two animals were not known to be contemporaries. There was a 3-4 million year gap between them, but because the fossil record is incomplete, it's not unreasonable to imagine that the two may have met briefly.

As it's enormous prey began to disappear due to the drying of Africa, it too was pushed to extinction roughly 14MYA. It's not very common to depict the high nasal opening of diplodocid sauropods harboring much beyond a slope, but I do enjoy imagining them having a sort of inflatable pouch structure for display. This bull is using it to try and confirm the Allosaurus' suspicion that it may not be wise to attack.
