I can not emphasize how important it is to get involved with something local. This is our home. This is our future. We need to step in and get started shaping it. Doesn't have to be politics, but it can be as simple as holding a little art show, zine or publication, etc.

Notice how wealth class media will spend years normalizing authoritarians, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and if someone who is even considered remotely leftist and wants to help people gains momentum they'll change every rule, twist history, and attack them relentlessly.
