Palet cleanse: Limestone. Some ripples (sharpie) at the top of a coarser fossiliferous interval. Some large crinoids, brachs, bivalves, bryozoans. Hindsville Formation (Chesterian; upper Visean, Mississippian) in NE Oklahoma.

Put up a backstop because I suck and, for the second time, stuck it on a bolt that is used to attach said backstop to the cage. I will count that as a good corner shot.

I’m so sorry, I’ve just been wanting to use this. I have no real or serious thought to add, other than I have seen at the University of Tulsa the top-heavy admin structure lead to problems.

Taught the boys that one of the most important tools to have around is a piece of 2x4 (not in a bad way). Need to hold something up? Block of wood? Need to gently hammer something and you can’t find you rubber mallet? Wood! Etc. etc.

Filled borrows at the firmground contact between the Lindsey Bridge Mbr (Chesterian; above) and Bayou Manard Mbr (Meramecian, Missisppian). Mayes Co., OK.
Note the dated xD card (circa 2009). Like I chose Beta over VHS.
Also note the clasts of the underlying mudstone in the grainstone above.

Batctrognathus distortus lanei (2 &4) are pretty cool and naming is self-explanatory (sorry, non-SEM). Mid-Osagean. Equivalent to FU 4U of Land & Brenckle. Left is from a consulting project I worked on, Right is from Boardman et al. (2013). Darwin Boardman was my Ph.D. advisor before he passed away.
