I could take 8 hours a day getting to and from my job, where I work a maximum of 8 hours as a private gardener, if I exclusively used my city’s public transit.

Since computer smarter than monkey I had to first route from my home to the hub, then the hub to the nearest bus stop to my job. That stop is a 33 minute walk according to other mapping apps. So not accounting for waiting at the hub, a 35-45 minute drive is now a 3-4 hour commute to *get to work*.

in many parts of america this does not apply because there is no public transit worth the time it takes to get to the destination, respectfully
