One of my favorite features of Bluesky is the ability to subscribe to blocklists. I heard that Trump and his cronies are trying to gain traction on Bluesky so I looked for a blocklist and there it was! Saved me from blocking each account separately.

If you’re old enough for Medicare: Make sure you know what you’re signing up for during open employment. If you choose MA (don’t if you can avoid it) make sure it has a drug plan. You aren’t allowed to get a separate Part D plan if it’s not part of your MA plan.

Looks like Martian invaders will be settling in the US so that they can take advantage of the huge payments from pharmaceutical companies that are on the hook for 1500% price reductions.

If I understand correctly, we will be seeing drug prices plummet by 1500%. Since they can only drop by 100%, that means that every time I fill a prescription I will receive a payment of 14 or 15 times the price of the prescription. That is awesome! Do I need to sign up or is it automatic?

I have been of the opinion all along that the "Epstein files" were a political fiction, rather than an actual thing. The only thing shocking about the sudden "disappearance" of said files is the admission that it was all bullshit. (And, no, none of this excuses pedophilia.)

I see so many people condemning "Zionists". It would be much more honest if they simply acknowledged that they just plain don't like Jews. I wouldn't LIKE it, particularly, but it would be more honest.

How long before someone tries to backfill the agricultural jobs that are unfilled because of mass deportation by mandating that Medicaid recipients must work low-wage jobs on farms to maintain their Medicaid? I predict that the idea will be floated very soon.

If we really care about leveling the playing field so that trans athletes don’t unfairly dominate women, or embarrass men, there is a simple solution: Co-ed teams.
I don’t think sports are as important as some folks, but I would be more likely to watch a team of PEOPLE, than men or women. #Co-Ed

It occurs to me that the rib sandwich may not actually be a sandwich, even though it involves bread. The bread is more like a napkin that you eat. If you've no idea what I'm talking about, you probably haven't been to the South.

Can anyone explain, in Bluesky baby-talk, how to add someone to a block list that I'm subscribed to? In this case, I'm trying to add a jackass (with one follower) to the block list that's been doing a pretty good job of keeping racist bullshit from popping up.

I saw a report that the Chamber of Commerce decided to lobby the President over reducing tariffs, instead of filing lawsuits. I think that the spell-checker must have been broken, since it said "lobby" instead of "bribe".
