If you are mad about this. Then you should focus it towards the Dems who just gave the Republicans a way out of their mess.

The infighting is from the Senate Democrats that caved.
Anyone defending them is participating in a disunity project from inside the party.

The Dems were winning. The problem is that the moderates saw that the GOP might actually nuke the filibuster and to protect the filibuster they caved.
That's it.
Dems were winning and would win the shutdown if GOP nuked the filibuster to do a bunch of terrible shit. Only they could be blamed for

There are a dozen or more Manchin or Sinemas amongst the moderate Dems that would step up to block it.
Just like there is magically only 8 Dems that required to cave. If only 1 or 2 Dems are required to cave and maintain the filibuster. They will always find those Dems.

Yes it's capitulation.
They didn't have to do anything. They chose to quit. They are telling us they quit and that standing up to Trump is pointless.
You are giving them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't even asking for. Delusional.

They literally only had to do nothing and this exact same thing would play out. But Republicans would have been forced to nuke the filibuster to do it.
Schumer and the Moderate Dems chose the filibuster over ACA

I think the cost is that it will expose that 50% of them are actually totally on board with Schumer and think he's doing a great job.

Moderate Democrats did this of their own stupid accord. It's not just the 8 that took the vote. It's the ones behind them that only voted the way they did to avoid voter backlash. Schumer above all.

Yes because they are 8 of 20 that would have voted Yes if necessary. Schumer is to blame for the Senate Dems caving. It was designed to protect them from voters as much as possible.

The vote that was promised is literally nothing. It's nothing. It doesn't matter if they get it or not

How much smoke does Tim Kaine have for Republicans?

I think it's playing into their hands not to include the rest of the senators that weren't required to vote.
Schumer, Hickenlooper, Baldwin, Warner, etc. they deserve a place alongside these people.
