A little treat for myself, only £11 on Amazon.

#TonightsMovie "The Running Man" (2025) A little disappointing sadly, merely perfunctory, didn't lean enough into either ridiculousness or satire , tone felt muddied. Maybe a 6/10?

#TonightsMovie "Wake Up Dead Man" (2025) Excellent twisty turny whodunnit. Daniel Craig obviously having a lot of fun.

Fab box set from Amazon, for a mere £27. I was looking for "L'Armee Des Ombres" and this seemed a better buy.

Some framed pins , sort of sums up my interests rather well.

#TonightsMovie "Godzilla : Final Wars" (2004) If you are looking for a Matrix/Independence Day/Godzilla mash up, well here you are. Ludicrous but great fun, with all your favourite Kaiju.

#TonightsMovie "The Awful Truth" (1937) Quintessential screwball comedy , stylish and hilarious.

#TonightsMovie "Tron : Ares" (2025) well it looked nice, I've never been a fan of Leto tbh, but he was fine.
Gillian Anderson was wasted (er, literally), all the cool bits were in the trailer. The NIN score was very impressive though.

#TonightsMovie "The Stranger" (1946) Slight but effective post war thriller. I feel there was a better movie striving to get out. Welles was far too young to portray a Nazi big wig in hiding, but the gray temples help I suppose.

#TonightsMovie "Bugonia" (2025) Well,that was quite something!
(I'll have to seek out "Save The Green Planet" now)

#TonightsMovie "Destry Rides Again" (1939) Perfect "comedy" Western, Stewart and Dietrich are outstanding!

Had a presale email for Emmylou Harris tickets at Sunderland Fire station.

#TonightsMovie "Autopsy" (1975) Crazy but fun #giallo again with Mimsy Farmer going a little crazy to say the least.
November 24, 2025 at 11:25 PM
#TonightsMovie "The Humanoid" (1979) Rather terrible Italian Sci-Fi riding on the Star wars mania of the late 70s, but made bearable and funny by @rifftrax.com

#TonightsMovie "The Hunt" (2020) such a fun movie, Betty Gilpin is great in this!

#TonightsMovie "The Creatures" (1966) I picked another "what is real?" movie quite by chance. Thriller/fantasy, which reminded me a smidge of "The Prisoner".
Featuring a beautiful, but effectively mute, Catherine Deneuve (spoiler - I was convinced her character was imaginary until the final scene).

Seems like forever.

#TonightsMovie "The Perfume of the Lady in Black" (1974) Sort of #giallo, with a psychological thriller element to boot. Absolutely crazy ending, but seen through the lens of a descent into madness makes more sense.
Stunning to look at too.

"I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" was very good tonight. Would love to have heard @adrianedmondson.bsky.social guesting with the "classic" line up.

#TonightsMovie "Wag The Dog" (1997) Excellent political "satire" that seems almost tame nowadays.
November 12, 2025 at 11:45 PM
#TonightsMovie "Powaqqatsi" (1988) A pale sequel to it's seminal older sibling, still enjoyable however.

#TonightsMovie "Village Of The Damned" (1960) Solid Brit Sci-Fi with a cast of Brit stalwarts*. Very short, but well made despite an obviously tight budget.
