#TonightsMovie "Judex" (1963) immensely enjoyable, if crazy, thriller / caper , imagine, if you will, an Edwardian "The Shadow" with a hint of "Adam Adamant". A fabulous villainess too all eye liner and wonderful costumes.

#TonightsMovie "Persona" (1966) Bergman examination of identity, almost unknowable , but beautiful in it's starkness and incredible main performances.

First movie purchase in a while, bargain on Amazon, 4k prohibitively expensive alas.
Such a wonderful film.

#TonightsMovie "Dark Star" (1974) Such an easy watch, despite a "hint" of existential dread.

Actual footage of Vince Guaraldi performing "Linus and Lucy". I'm gobsmacked that this exists, but utterly thrilled too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EMf...

#TonightsMovie "Exit 8" (2025) Excellent existential horror based on "the back rooms" game.

#TonightsMovie "What Have They Done to Your Daughters?" (1974) Crime procedural with #giallo elements, solidly entertaining.

#TonightsMovie "Last Year at Marienbad" (1961) Baffling yes, but also stylish, dreamlike and hugely enjoyable. Surely seen by David Lynch at some point.

Trying to watch the @rifftrax.com version of "Batman VS Superman" (previously avoided it) but even the riff can't disguise what a clunker this film is.

I'll watch the end at some point I imagine (I'm guessing slo-mo punching will feature)

Just watched "Object Z" (1965) Very stiff upper lipped studio bound Sci-Fi.
Despite it's apparently tiny budget and numerous acting fluffs, an interesting story told in a most grown up way for what was apparently a tea time show.

Wonderful uplifting (despite the dour tone of many of their songs) 20th anniversary gig at The #Glasshouse in Gateshead tonight, by the #TheUnthanks

#TonightsMovie "Safety Not Guaranteed" (2012) I saw this on release, and got a nice reply from the director on Twitter as was.
Not really about time travel , more about people being people, recommended.

#TonightsMovie "Black Belly of the Tarantula" (1971) Enjoyable #Giallo but the protagonist, Inspector Tellini, is a really terrible investigator.

Binge watched "Children Of The Stones" (1977) Marvelous, truly a golden age of children's TV.
Hard to believe it was on at teatime.

#TonightsMovie "So Sweet, So Dead" (1972) Solid #giallo. Every female cast member seems to end up nude, and every character is a chain smoker!

#TonightsMovie "Warning Sign" (1985) Workmanlike but effective 80s conspiracy/Sci Fi.

Just started Season 2 of #OuterLimits rewatch. I don't think Ellison had much of a case against Cameron to be honest. Anyway a great episode.
Looks lovely on blu-ray too!

Just anounced - I love this film, pre-ordered!

#TonightsMovie "My Dear Killer"(1972) 10 minutes in , and I realised I'd seen it before! The ever reliable George Hilton solving a twisty-turny mystery perpetrated by a liller in black gloves, what more could you ask for?
#Giallo

#TonightsMovie "King Arthur" (2004) Recommended to me on Reddit. So po faced and historically ludicrous. Clive Owen and Keira Knightly so miscast! However still some enjoyment to be had, and Mads Mikkelsen is in it.

#TonightsMovie "Dust Bunny" (2025) I wanted to love it, but it was merely okay, think "Pushing Daisies" meets "Leon The Professional".
