Going tough on immigration isn’t working. Instead, we must offer real solutions to falling living standards and growing inequality.

Some takeaways from the election losses, in the sincere hope that this will be a period of genuine reflection for our party:

Just because some of our voters switched to Reform, it does not mean that their sole motivation is immigration, argues Nadia Whittome MP.

Tin eared response from Labour spokespeople to election results so far. Labour supporters feel Labour, their party, has turned its back on them citing Winter Fuel Allowance, NI tax on jobs & threat of disability cuts. Message to ministers is drop the plans to attack disabled.

⚡️Ambitious publicly owned energy can:

🌎 Protect our planet

🇬🇧 Reduce our reliance on foreign imports

🛡️Shield customers from price shocks

In 2022 some energy bills rose 100%. In France, where energy’s nationalised, bill rises were capped at 4%!

🚨The FBU fiercely resists further welfare cuts.

Rachel Reeves must not become Labour’s ‘austerity Chancellor’, warns FBU Steve Wright.

"Hard pressed families must not be made to pay the price of nearly a decade-and-a-half of Tory mismanagement of the economy."
