I suspect these faith groups are against assisted dying generally. In contrast, Lesley Storey, the chief executive of My Sister’s Place, a charity that supports victims of domestic abuse, said the bill provided “rigorous safeguards where currently there are none”.

I watched 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 for the first time in about three decades; it seemed appropriate for the time. Immense fun spotting all the bit-parts. It's leaving Prime Video in the UK soon, but the quality of the print was excellent. #movies

Just finished the jigsaw my wife got to keep me quiet over Xmas. The Fall of the Rebel Angels by Pieter Bruegel the Elder, 1562. What an amazing painting from 463 years ago. I'm a big fan of the Bruegels. Perhaps @bendorgrosvenor.bsky.social can add some insight?

I've seen most of these without long-lasting distress. However I had to stop watching Scottish sitcom #TwoDoorsDown when Doon Mackichan's character Cathy went from needy and insecure to toxic and borderline psychopathic. She was terrifying!
