Billy Barty had a role in the 1935 movie, Bride of Frankenstein. He played a baby in a high chair in Dr. Pretarious' miniature collection. The clip has a question mark, but it's known to be him.

Fan, powered by alcohol using a stirling engine as a motor. $16.50 in 1916 would be about $491 in 2025 dollars.
The description fits this fan on Antiques Roadshow (video in article). They demonstrate.

From Days Inn Wikipedia, it was called 8 Days Inn for a while. Rooms were $8.88. This was in 1970.
Day Inn had nicer rooms than Motel 6.

Occasionally I see a cute little covered bridge picture amid trees with bright turning leaves this time of year. They are, indeed, pretty.
But this is a covered bridge. I once found myself going across it.
Less cute, more incredible.

I'm just now getting around to watching Godzilla (2014). I had no idea it was so good. They explain enough to make it believable, plus it has Bryan Cransten and Juliette Binochett (at least for a little while).
It's free on YouTube. Not sure if you have to be signed in.
