I didn't say his behavior was justified, but I don't think the umpire was applying the rules correctly. I don't think the interruption was significant enough to warrant awarding another 1st serve. It's a judgment call but I think it was an extremely poor exercise of the umpire's judgment.

Not just a new 1st serve. A new first serve on match point! Of course Medvedev got upset.

I was watching. The interruption caused by the photographer coming on court was just a couple of seconds. It was an atrocious decision by the umpire to award a new first serve on match point for such a minimal disruption.

Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Alcaraz are NOT the only other men to win 15 slam matches in a row. Andre Agassi did it TWICE. He won 18 in a row from the 1994 US Open through the QF of 1995 French Open, then 15 in a row from 1999 US Open through 2nd Round of 2000 French Open.
