I figured it might do an ok job of making a good-looking slide show on the Elements of Allegory (in relation to Waubgeshig Rice's "Moon of the Crusted Snow")
After a half dozen corrupted/incomplete responses, I uploaded my own text and asked for a sideshow w/eerie winter images

He kept it up on twitter as well. The complete absence of punctuation reminded me to steel myself for the two sections of Grade 9 English I'll be teaching in two week's time. 😎

This trade happened in December. It's the kind of deal I can easily imagine happening (especially for teams who pull the chute early in hopes of improving their odds in the McKenna lottery)

As an English teacher, I've found it actually useful only once - creating a version of a Greek myth that was the right length and reading level for an exam's sight passage.
But I knew the myth & could verify.
Overall, we gotta be like Ned Ludd & Capt Swing over this...it'll take our jobs otherwise

Gotta say, being home with a 5 yr old over the summer break has made me think about Philip K Dick's Theory of Kipple, a lot. 😎
