Das Bild zeigt die Kunstausstellung "Diane Arbus: Konstellationen", im Gropius Bau in Berlin. Verschiedene Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografien sind in schwarzen Rahmen an einer filigranen, schwarzen Metallkonstruktion aufgehängt. Die Konstruktion erstreckt sich in den Raum und bildet Rahmen, die die Fotografien umgeben und miteinander verbinden. Die Rahmen sind teilweise mit kleinen Nummernschildern versehen. Der Boden ist hell und reflektiert, was den Eindruck verstärkt, dass sich die Konstruktion mit den Bildern in den Raum ausdehnt. Die Wände im Hintergrund sind neutral gehalten, um die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Kunstwerke zu lenken. Die Fotografien zeigen unterschiedliche Motive: eine Person im Anzug im Freien, eine sitzende Person, eine Gruppe von Menschen und andere. Die Anordnung der Bilder an der Metallkonstruktion erzeugt eine offene und zugängliche Struktur, die es dem Betrachter ermöglicht, die Kunstwerke aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zu betrachten und zu interagieren.
