Trimmed the five privets with the hedgetrimmer today. First time I have dared to do it. Quite pleased with the results. Gave the laurel and one of the bamboos a trim into the bargain!

New lime flavoured mint with a repotted traditional spearmint behind. Looking forward to trying the new mint on fish.

Went to Thistleton Herb Nursery open garden day and unfortunately bought some plants which all needed planting and there were other bits to do too. Will my back forgive me?

Today would have been my late husband Trevor's 70th birthday. I have dedicated some trees in the National Forest to celebrate the life he did have, albeit too short.

What a difference three years makes. New Year's Day 2022 Trevor and I did our fastest wheelchair run and our last parkrun together. Today, me and my replacement knee Nordic Walked @rutwaterparkrun in a slower time but a decent one considering I was soaked!

Not many on here will know our journey but 25 months ago today this wonderful man left this world and it became a very lonely place for me.
