Google has a Price-to-Earnings ratio (31) 2x higher than, say, perennial cash cow JP Morgan Chase (16). But AI/data company Palantir's PE ratio is 436. The market thinks Palantir will grow 27x faster than Chase. maybe.

Or maybe, if you're jumping in now, you're the last sucker in the Ponzi scheme?

Alternatively, as the old internet saying goes, 'if you aren't the customer, you're the product.' Presumably Google and ChatGPT think SOMEBODY (advertisers?) will pay for AI, in order to extract money out of my wallet elsewise.

Maybe they're right.

In fairness, Google Workspace offers higher cost 'editions', up to $35 per month. But my lowly $12/month (soon $14) already "unlocks the full power of AI."

We have unlimited Gemini Pro usage, first access to the new AI generations. They call my access 'Pro'.

Trees, ok, bummer about the trees.

But Traffic Reduction? No transit project can reduce traffic, that’s an impossible standard. in a place like LA? The goal is create alternatives to sitting in traffic.

Your only homeless plan ever got shot down two years ago, Mr. Mayor. You've offered nothing since. Have anything supportive to say about the plan that the rest of the city is rallying around?

Oh, no you don't.

Mayor Wheeler is still licking his wounds from his favored spot in Brem's Oyster Bay neighborhood being vetoed by Council. He's taking his ball and going home. www.kitsapsun.com/story/news/2...
